Let’s get to know each other better, I’ll go first!
Hi there!
I have lived in Morzine in the French Alps for the past 8 years. It is very much my home and I adore where I live. I am constantly inspired by my beautiful surroundings, daily life revolving around the outdoors, and the ever-changing mountain weather. I reckon I will be forever finding new places to explore here.
Before I moved to France, I was born and grew up in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, so big hills and rugged landscapes have always been a part of me. Growing up, I spent most of my time outdoors and our weekends consisted of long walks whatever the weather. I love a good adventure with my Husband Tom, we have a rather chunky cat called Bob, Autumn is without a doubt my favourite season and I strongly believe that you cannot beat a good pizza…
I really am a total sucker for love, I am such a romantic & quite honestly if you cry, I’ll cry with you… Any of my couples will tell you I sobbed at their wedding ( always quietly behind my camera, but I just can’t seem to help myself! )
I believe that being able to gift people memories of both the small, everyday moments & the big moments in life is the best job in the world.
To gift these memories in the most authentic way possible, the key is natural, unstaged photos. My goal is to capture you as you. You don’t need to be a supermodel or love having your photo taken. Most people hate being in front of a camera and feel like they want the floor to swallow them whole. I totally get that.
All you need to do is relax, trust me, and just be you.
Let’s chat soon,
Verity x
Here are some of my favourite things -
Coffee - always // Early morning light // My cat snoozing // Fresh linen ( who doesn’t love this..) // Hot pastries on a Sunday morning ( this would be my main reason for living in France, let’s be honest ) // A cheeky glass of red with a bowl of crisps (I have a huge weakness for crisps of any kind if you ever want to bribe me) // Sunrises & sunsets - I’m obsessed // A warm mug of tea to wrap your hands around // Fresh snow & how it silences everything, there is something so peaceful about it // Frosty Autumn mornings // The smell of the earth warming up after winter // the first rays of Spring sunshine on my face // Oo & my Husband, Tom. He is pretty great too.
