A Whimsical Celebration of Love: Alexis & Mi’s Wedding on Lake Annecy

Nestled in the heart of the French Alps, the shores of Lake Annecy provided the perfect backdrop for Alexis and Mi’s enchanting wedding day. With its crystal-clear waters and dramatic mountainous horizon, the setting was just breathtaking!!

The weather was perfect—we were lucky enough to have a soft, warm breeze and endless blue skies.

The colour palette they had chosen was a dreamy blend of pastel pinks, blush tones, muted blues, and delicate greens. These hues flowed seamlessly throughout the day, from the bridal bouquet to the table settings.

Alexis and Mi chose to spend an hour with me to have their couple’s portraits taken. This was so lovely; it gave us lots of time to potter around beautiful Talloires without rushing back. We found a beautiful little patisserie shop which I had no idea existed!

Their ceremony was just perfect, it was family and dearest friends only, all overlooking the lake with the most stunning flower arch! It was deeply personal, with heartfelt vows exchanged, family members and friends giving readings, all against the tranquil lapping of the lake’s waters.

The day finished with the end of the ceremony as golden hour hit and the sun dipped behind the mountains. Wow what a venue!
